Number 11 is a brand founded by 2 cigar and spirit loving friends that formed a bond after a chance meeting whilst travelling in Morrocco in 2012.
The friends formed a mission to create the perfect Cigar & Spirit pairing. This mission would see them travel the globe and seek out the finest tobaccos and premium spirits the world had to offer,
Following a long spell in Costa Rica they came across several farms producing some formidable Cuban seed tobacco’s and decided there and then that this tobacco had to be shared with aficionados around the world. Number 11 was formed, and the unique blending of our premium Cigars began.
Number 11 foundations are built on genuine love and passion for Costa Rican tobacco, and it is our belief that this tobacco is one of the most underrated in the world today.
Our cigars are the result of a fusion between Number 11’s blending house and and our artisan tobacco growers based in Costa Rica. The Volcanic soil on the Highlands of the Puriscal region and the central Valles of Costa Rica provide rich nutrients for our Cuban seed tobacco to flourish. Our specially triple cured tobacco is a unique blend of 3 types of leaves that create a light to medium bodied cigar that can be enjoyed by all aficionados. We particularly make use of the seco leaf to provide the fragrant floral notes we search for within our Cigars. The end result is a cigar with a great balance of pepper and spice which progressively mellows down to a smooth floral finish, the changing characteristic of this cigar provides a unique smoking experience every time.
Our unique Toro (Maduro) wrapper on this large vitola cigar will give you over 1hr of pure indulgent smoking time. Sweet chocolatey notes run throughout this cigar from start to finish and despite its larger size will still have you longing for more. This cigar is one of the smoothest Maduro Cigars we have blended to date and is sure to be a unique smoking experience for all enthusiasts.
