What a cigar for the money!! This really is a mammoth cigar with a whopping 56 ring gauge. As you would expect from Regius the cigars smoke beautifully.

Back in the day British companies owned large swathes of the cigar and tobacco worlds. Buying and opening up plantations all across the new world, as the hands of time have crept across the industry this has reduced somewhat. While the British interests are still a very prominent part of the tobacco world, the number of “players” can be counted on one hand now. So when Glynn first heard news of a new UK company in London, he just had to try them. Through contacting Akhil one of the company’s directors, the two built a relationship based on a mutual love for cigars and tobacco.

The Regius brand quickly picked up fans not only here in the UK, but eventually around the world. The aim of Regius cigars was to tailor cigars for the British smokers, using purely Nicaraguan tobaccos. Not an easy feat by any ones standard, British smokers have a form of snobbery in regards Cuban and None Cuban cigars. Akhil spent most of the early days working out in Nicaragua with various plantations and factories to achieve the perfect cigars.

The fruits of this labour can be tasted in every Regius cigar we carry here at GQ Tobaccos and represent some of the finest cigars you can purchase. The classic line is comprised of 6 vitolas, each being made from a slightly different blend and resulting in a variety of tastes/style.
