Isla Cocodrilo
Isla del Cocodrilo is Spanish for “Island of Crocodile.” It pays homage to the shape of the island of Cuba, which some say resembles a crocodile. Produced at Tabacalera La Isla, Isla de Cocodrilo features an Ecuadorian Habano Deflorada wrapper. The blend also features dual binders (Ecuadorian Habano 2000 and Brazilian Arapiraca) over a blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos. When they embarked on the journey of sourcing tobacco for this project, they sought something truly extraordinary for the wrapper, and they achieved just that with the Habano Deflorada it adds a layer of complexity and richness to Isla del Cocodrilo, elevating the blend’s experience to a new flavour spectrum.
