Peterson have purchased the Dunhill blend recipes, and are made in the same factory as previous Dunhill blends so you can now enjoy your old favourites again!
Dunhill Royal Yacht was introduced in 1912 and has been a firm favourite with smokers around the world ever since. What is essentially a Virginia mixture is given a slight plum topping, adding a little to the smoking experience. It comes across as almost a VaPer without the addition of Perique.
From the tin this tobacco has a wonderfully complex Virginia aroma with a slight raisin not to it. This dark tobacco packs easily thanks to the ribbon cut and lights very easily. For a blend of this nature it certainly produces plenty of smoke and is best smoked slowly. If smoked too quickly the tobacco will burn a little hot and harsh, as you would expect from a Virginia blend.
