Each of these beautiful pipes is hand carved by master carver Medet Kara, who now works in Margi, right next to the meerschaum mine.  He has worked with various groups in Turkey an on commissions for some of the big European pipe names.

Medet’s father, Emin Kara, was considered one of Turkeys finest sculpture carvers. Medet and his brother Imdat took all the training and advice their father had to offer and between them, produce the finest pipes in Turkey.
