(Sliced) Rum twist is a personal favourite of ours, this rich and no non sense tobaccos packs a punch with both strength and flavour. Made from 100% fire cured tobacco, tightly twisted into a rope and given a rum topping. The tobacco is rich and packed full of earthy, leathery, cigar like flavours and the rum just adds an extra sweet, fragrant dimension.
If you are looking for a sweet and mellow Rum aromatic, try Century - Buttered Rum or the Gawith Hoggarth - Rum & Maple, as this is could not be any further from those. We have our Rum Twist pre sliced at the factory, for use in our blend as well as ease for the smoker. While still in the rope, this tobacco needs cutting and leaving to dry. In this pre sliced format, the tobacco only needs a short air drying inside the pipe bowl and its good to go. This tobacco can be smoked moist, but tends to be a little hot from the moisture and needs many relights. Once you have this tobacco going, the power and flavours will suffice any harden pipe smoker.
