Ogdens was one of the last pipe tobacco factories in the UK controlled by Imperial Tobacco, based in Liverpool. Production has now shifted to Orlik in Denmark, where this cool and flavoursome flake is still manufactured. Made from various grades of Flue cured Virginia's, spicy Burley and a touch of fire cured Burley. The tobacco is cold pressed for a slow burning experience with reasonable amount of body. Easy to rub out and pack into the bowl, the smoker is rewarded with a rich and nutty smoke. A great of example of a classic English medium flake.
