Traditional scented British tobaccos, or Lakelands as many of us call them, are an acquired taste. The flavour of Victorian style spices and scents produce powerful aromatic tobaccos, but nothing like the American and Danish aromatics. This stout and powerful Virginia plug has been given a sweet and floral aroma, which can also found on the West Moorland Mixture.

The tobacco is best sliced into thin slices and then rubbed into the bowl, the moisture content makes for hard going if left too thick. Once the tobacco is lit, a thick and creamy smoke is released, which is packed with a sweet and strong floral flavours. As the smoke progresses the body builds and the toppings start to subside, but leave the heavy sweetness.

A tobacco for lovers of Samuel Gawith scented blends and not suggested for those who find Ennerdale flake too much.
