The 333 Festival blend is as far towards the aromatic end of the spectrum Solani blends go and it’s not that far to be honsest. As you would expect the tobacco is comprised of a Virignia, Black Cavendish and Burley base. The Virginia’s and Black Cavendish give this blend a solid base, which supped slowly, is creamy and cool to smoke. The Burley is barely noticeable in the flavour profile, its main role is to keep smoke cool and hold the Plum toppings. A plum topping is added, not overly done, just enough to give an aroma and addition to the flavour profile.

As soon as you crack the tin, the sweet and incising aromas of Plum and almost caramelised sugar presents its self. Many find this smokes better in a wider pipe, this allows for the tobacco to supped, rather than constantly puffed for a mouth filling draw. The sugar casings of the Cavendish make for a sweet smoke, which blends beautifully with the plum. Unlike many other tobaccos in the same category, the 333 keeps its flavour to the very end and resists getting to bitter.

Solani tobaccos are highly praised internationally and sought after by UK pipe connoisseurs. The use of high quality tobaccos gives the Solani blends an old world charm, quality, taste and overall an exceptional smoking experience. Serious tobacco collectors have Solani aging within their growing tobacco cellars.
