Peder Jeppsen is the mastmind behind Neerup pipes, he started carving pipes as soon as he left school in 1977. Iniitally he worked with Karl Erik Ottendahl and after that he worked for almost 18 years with Erik Nording. In 2002 he set up his own workshop and started his own brand of pipes, Neerup.
The Neerup workshop is in Denmark in a small villiage named Lejre, just half an hour’s drive from Copenhagen. Lejre is famous for its beautiful landscape and for the many fascinating remains of Vikings and Stone Age settlements.
Neerup pipes are made to the highest of quality and all have a Danish flare about them.
All the Jeppesen pipes are one offs and the one you see in the pictures is the one you get.
