Auld Kendal (AK) Mixed is comprised of both golden flue cured Virginias, with the addition of darker air cured leaves. This balanced blend makes for a medium bodied smoke, with both the grassy and deeper, earthier tastes coming through. A great alternative to the usual suspects sold here in the UK. Cut at about 1mm in thickness this fine cut tobacco both rolls and smokes very easily. Unlike other similar rolling tobaccos, AK tobaccos makes use of only a small amount of natural sugars. This helps keep the tobacco fresh, without the use of complex mixtures of chemicals and additives.
