The History of Tobacco
Tobacco is lavished with history. From its early usage in the Americas, it increased in popularity following its arrival from Spain.
First discovered by the native people of Mesoamerica and South America, then later introduced to the rest of the world. By the time the European settlers arrived, tobacco has already been used widely across the Americas. The natives of North America used tobacco as accepted trade items as well as smoking in pipe ceremonies. They saw tobacco as a 'gift' from 'The Creator' and the smoke symbolises the carrying of prayers to the spirits.
As as a result of centuries of cultivation tobacco is widely available in a range of blends and flavours which capture the traditional styles from all over the world
